Who’s the teacher?

It’s me!

My name is Giuseppe Andretta, I’m an italian Adobe Certified Instructor in Photoshop since 2004, actually I’m in charge of moderating the Photoshop CS4 new Online Help in italian. I’m also an Apple Distinguished Professional in Aperture 2 and recently X-Rite honored me of including myself among the Coloratti international community. As acknowledgment for the work done with their tablets, Wacom identify me as a key influencer in Italy. One of the most popular italian photographic associations (FIOF) certify me as a qualified teacher. I’m skilled in digital photography, color management, photo retouching and fine-art printing.

I can teach in italian or english on request.

Where?

I provide on-site training courses but there is a classroom always available, in my studio, with digital video projector, wireless connection and workstations together with a huge amount of color management devices and software . Each student can bring its own notebook. My studio is located in Castelfranco Veneto, a medieval village in the Venice area. A lot of accomodations can be found in the neighborhood, from typical (and cheap) italian B&Bs to the modern Best Western at 200 mt from my place. You should also decide to walk along the castle walls and, at about 400 mt. from my studio, you can find an amazing room at hotel alla Torre, that is built in the castle, right below the Castelfranco’s clock tower…an unforgettable experience!

I can travel and teach all around Italy and abroad, so you can easily ask me for a speaking engagement in your city. As mentioned before I can teach in italian and in english and I have no problem even with long distance engagements.

Who should attend?

My Photoshop, Lightroom, Aperture and color management classes are, obviously, ‘photography oriented’ but they can be interesting to everyone is involved in the digital imaging workflow: professionals printers, photo retouchers, graphic and web designers, architects etc. Color management lessons and consultancies are suitable for printers and photographers but they can be customized for industrial projects i.e. color fabrics measurements, ISO standard color measurement etc.

Where is the training program?

Most requested programs and training paths are explained in detail later and they concern typical topics such as color management, raw processing techniques, beauty digital retouch etc. If you don’t find a program that fits your needs you can easily choose among all topics in order to get the program you like for the duration you prefer. If you want you can also submit to me the topics you want to deal with and I will plan a customized program for you and try to figure out how much it should last.

How long do they last?

It depends! Some of them can last few hours and others a couple of days or more. Once the program is determined, we can schedule together the number of classes required to work it out. Please note that in the next pages you will find, beside the title, an approximated evaluation of the duration of each course.
